Create Good Space

Good space for making money includes choosing a country, a city, a neighborhood, a home, a work space – where you can thrive. In the Biology of Success, Bob Arnot asserts, “Happiness often has less to do with money than with a comfortable and rewarding work environment . . . even in the poorest of circumstances, people create around them organization, style, and an environment that leads to financial prosperity and outstanding success.”

He elaborates on the importance of good work space. “Ever wonder why some rooms invite you to work and others seem to suck energy from your body? Practitioners of the ancient Chinese art of ‘feng shui’ will tell you it all has to do with invisible living energy called chi, and understanding the energy flow of a place. The ancient Chinese art of feng shui finds and creates balance and harmony in working and living environments. Ask yourself: Does the space you are in suck up your energy, or does it give you back energy?”

“Here are recommendations for the location, lay-out and shape of your work space (from Richard Webster, a feng shui expert and author of Feng Shui for Beginners, 101 Feng Shui Tips for the Home and Feng Shui in the Workplace)”:

· Don’t clutter

· Have at least one window in your work space, since windows allow “chi” or life force into the room

· Choose colors that you find pleasing

· Choose live plants for your office; don’t choose dried plants.

“The bottom line is that your personal environment does matter. The difference between a good performance and a spectacular one is often minute. . . . design a space that you love and a space that will love you back, and experience the magic and miracle of place.”
