Give to Philanthropy
Give generously. Give to charity; give to philanthropy too.
Philanthropy is investing money in solutions to underlying problems – in health care, in social services, in education. It asks many questions. It is strategic, and focused on long-term outcomes Its purpose is to improve conditions that affect the health, education, social welfare, cultural development. and sustainability of the world we live in. Important philanthropic causes for you to consider include: early childhood education for new parents (to help them learn how to effectively nurture their babies and infants during the first critically important years of life), before and after-school recreation and mentoring services for children whose parents work early or late, higher education, health research, nature conservancy.
The Chronicle of Philanthropy -- available at many libraries, on-line, and by subscription -- is a valuable source of information for guiding your philanthropic interests.
Express thanksgiving. Give some of your treasure to chairity; give to philanthropy, and make some time to give to volunteer service
